What are the minimum requirements for installing LivePerson?

LivePerson supports the following operating systems and browsers for agents and visitors. Please note that while other browsers may work, they have not been tested and users may experience issues or loss of functionality.

These are the minimum system requirements for a LivePerson operator:

• Processor: recommended Intel/AMD 1GHz or above (1.2GHz for Agent Console)
• Memory: 512MB RAM

• Operating system: Windows 2000 / Windows XP / Windows Vista
• Browser: Internet Explorer 6, 7, 8; Firefox 2, 3, 3.5, Safari 3
• Windows-compatible sound card & speakers (USB headset for telephony subscribers)

Chat, ticketing bandwidth requirement: 20Kbps (downstream) per operator (for every 100 visitors in the visitors filter).
Voice bandwidth requirement: 40 Kbps (Symmetric – upload and download) per operator per concurrent call.
